Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a tattoo cost?
Tattoo pricing depends on the size, detail, colour, and the artist you book with. Our senior artists price their work per piece, so you’ll receive a custom quote based on your design. Our shop minimum is $150.
Ava works at an hourly rate and will provide a time estimate so you have a general idea of cost, though final pricing may vary slightly depending on the piece. Ava’s current apprentice rate is $100/hour.
Do I need a deposit?
Yes, a deposit is required to secure your appointment. Deposits go toward the final cost of your tattoo and ensure your artist’s time is reserved. They are non-refundable, as your artist begins preparing and designing your custom tattoo in advance. Deposits can be transferred if you need to reschedule with at least 48 hours notice.
Can I bring my own design?
Absolutely. We’re happy to work with your ideas, references, or existing designs. Your artist will collaborate with you to refine the concept and create a custom tattoo that works best for your body and style.
What should I do before/after my appointment?
Before your appointment, make sure you’re well-rested, hydrated, and have eaten. Avoid alcohol the day before and day of your tattoo.
